We have all heard the saying ‘practice makes perfect’ or as we say in our house ‘practice makes progress’. Repetition is an incredibly important component of your child’s learning.
It is how they internalize concepts and it strengthens the connections in the brain that help them learn. Repetition also builds confidence, concentration and helps your child develop the necessary skills for mastery.
This is also why we don’t interrupt a child who is working or repeating an activity that has been shown to them, as all of these critical skills and more are developing.
I’ve added a link to a video that I shared on my social media last week, just in case you don’t follow my account. I share lots of tips, videos and fun things on there.
